In 1969, Dee Ann was North Dakota’s Junior Miss and went on to place 2nd runner up at Nationals. Junior Miss gave her the opportunity to attend the University of Miami and receive her undergraduate degree in Physical Education. She then attended Florida State University to receive her Masters Degree in Physical Education and Minor in dance.
She taught at the high school and Community College levels. She joined Delta Airlines as a flight attendant and has retired after 27 years of flying. Her second career for the past 40 years has been acting and modeling.
She has been seen in numerous TV commercials, catalog advertisements, soap operas, a television movie and a feature film. She served as President for the Alumnae Council for 5 years and has
judged extensively throughout the country at state programs.
This past year she was proud to see 8 of her 11 Campers receive additional scholarship
awards, totaling $73,000, at Nationals. Five Campers were in the Top Ten Finalists with Idaho winning Nationals and South Carolina receiving 2nd Runner Up!
