In 1969, Dee Ann was North Dakota’s Junior Miss and went on to place 2nd runner up at Nationals. Junior Miss gave her the opportunity to attend the University of Miami and receive her undergraduate degree in Physical Education. She then attended Florida State University to receive her Masters Degree in Physical Education and Minor in dance.
She taught at the high school and Community College levels. She joined Delta Airlines as a flight attendant and has retired after 27 years of flying. Her second career for the past 38 years has been acting and modeling.
She has been seen in numerous TV commercials, catalog advertisements, soap operas, a television movie and a feature film. She is the President of the AJM Alumnae Council and has
judged extensively throughout the country at state programs.
This past year she was proud to see 9 of her 13 Campers receive additional scholarship
awards, totaling $42,000, at Nationals. Four Campers were in the Top Ten Finalists with 1st runner as well!
